A hotel on the promenade, opposite the casino

Casino Hotel Velden stands on the Corso, the lakeside street that runs through the middle of Velden am Wörthersee in Carinthia, southern Austria. The hotel takes its name from its neighbour: Casino Velden sits directly across the road at Am Corso 17, and the hotel's fine-dining restaurant, Die Yacht, is in that building too.

The hotel itself is a compact house of 41 rooms and suites with its own access to the lake. Its location is the reason most guests choose it: the station, the boat pier, the shops of the town centre and the swimming water are all a short walk away, so a stay here works well without a car.

This guide gathers what the hotel publishes about itself, adds the practical context a first-time visitor needs, and points you to the hotel's own website for anything that involves a booking or a price.

Why this guide exists

Searching for the hotel by name returns a mix of booking portals, old listings and directory pages that disagree with each other about the address, the room count and even the town. gambinoo.com puts the verified basics on one page and links straight to the source.

The guide is written by Lido Editorial and is independent of the hotel, its operator Cuisino Ges.m.b.H. and Casinos Austria. It does not sell rooms, take payments or collect booking details. Images on this site are illustrations and are labelled as such.
